Clippers vs Raptors
An upsetting loss for the Clippers as they lose to the Raptors by 21 points.No one expected a season opener like this even though PF Areg Johnson said that people underestimated his team.Well he did make quite a statement Sunday night against the Clippers and so did Small Foward Iggy World Peace.Iggy managed to rack up 35 points,4 assist,8 steals,7 rebounds,4 turnovers,and 4 blocks.Iggy seemed to improve his skills this season,but the MVP was given to PG Stebo Nash.While on the Clippers side, their top performer was John Griffin scoring 21 points and 4 blocks.Clippers still have enough time to develop.
Rockets vs Spurs
Chris Duncan was awarded Offensive Player of the Game leaving the game with 26 points and Dante Ginobili demonstrating his tough defense was awarded Defensive Player of the Game.Top Performer was Shawn Parker.The Rockets struggling to build a team with chemistry lose to the Spurs Sunday night.It was a fair and kinda close game but Spurs some how ended up putting the nail in the coffin.Their tight defense kept Dro below 9 points the entire game.Now that we know what the Spurs are capable of,we should see more of this chemistry on the court this season.
